With this year starting on a Friday It is just a 10-day review to start with.
No swimming at all, as pools are closed and I am not dumb brave enough to swim outside at this time of year.
I managed to get in a first mountain bike ride in the snow. Added to all the time I have been spending on the turbo that gets me slightly ahead of my planned bike miles.
I tried to front-load my runs into the first few days of the year before I went back to work on the 5th, and my builders arrived on the 6th. I managed to get a day ahead of my January targets so that I can either have a day off, or at least a couple of very light days at some point before a very heavy February.
The building work on my extension has started, but not at any sort of measurable pace. In three days so far they have done less than 6 hours on site. Hopefully things will accelerate from Monday.
